Fly your DJI drone over the site and mark points as you go. Vekta Survey measures distances and areas and guides you back to any point, at RTK or GPS accuracy depending on your drone. Export the results as KML or Shapefile. It's faster than walking the site with ground equipment, and faster and cheaper than photogrammetry.
A quicker way to take measurements and stake out points, using the drone you already fly.
There's no need to carry a rover pole or total station across the site. You fly to each point, mark it from the controller and move on. Ditches, crops, water and steep ground slow a ground crew down, but they don't slow the drone.
Results are ready when you land. There's no image capture, stitching, processing licence or orthomosaic to wait for. When the job needs distances, areas and point positions rather than a full 3D model, you skip that whole pipeline.
An RTK-enabled DJI drone gives you centimetre-level points. A standard DJI drone works with its built-in GPS at metre-level accuracy. You can start with the drone you have and move to RTK when the job needs it.
Vekta Survey doesn't replace a full photogrammetric model. It replaces the site walk and the extra mapping flight that most measuring jobs don't need.
Three tools in one flight view, on the controller you already fly with. The images below illustrate each tool; app screenshots will follow at launch.
Mark two or more points in flight and read the distance straight away. You can measure point to point or along a chained line, for boundaries, setbacks, trench runs, fence lines and clearances. Each point records the drone's position at the moment you tap.
Fly the outline, marking each corner, and Vekta Survey closes the shape and works out the area and perimeter as you go. It suits plots, stockpile footprints, damaged crop, construction zones and anything else you would otherwise pace out or estimate.
Pick a saved point and Vekta Survey guides you to it, showing live distance and bearing until the drone is directly overhead. You can use it to find a corner marker again, check a set-out, or bring a ground crew to the exact spot. Accuracy follows your drone: centimetres with RTK, metres with GPS.
Vekta Survey works with both. It shows which positioning mode is active, so you always know how far to trust a measurement.
Centimetre-level, around ±2cm. With an RTK fix, every marked point, distance, area and navigation target is survey-grade. Use it for set-out checks, boundaries and anything that has to line up with a design or a legal line.
Metre-level. The drone's built-in GNSS is accurate enough for quick area estimates, rough distances, site walkthroughs and finding a point again. You don't need an RTK module or network subscription to start.
For surveyors, contractors, agronomists and land managers who need numbers from the site today.
Check set-outs and clearances, measure footprints and relocate control points without walking the site.
Measure plots and boundaries and find corner markers in the field.
Get field areas, damaged-crop areas and stand boundaries for claims, planning and records.
Measure along lines, pipes and roads, and bring crews to the exact inspection point.

Every point, line and area you measure exports with its coordinates, ready to open in the next tool in your workflow.
Open measurements in Google Earth or share them with a client in a format anyone can view.
Load points, lines and polygons into QGIS, ArcGIS and most GIS platforms, with attributes included.
Bring the same files into CAD through its GIS import, or reuse boundaries in other drone mission planners.
Vekta Survey is built on the DJI Mobile SDK, the same platform as Vekta Fields. Whether it runs on a given aircraft depends on two separate things.
The aircraft and controller need to expose the DJI SDK capabilities that third-party apps like Vekta Survey rely on: live camera feed, positioning data and flight control. DJI decides this, not Vekta.
The aircraft also has to be implemented and tested in Vekta Survey. Not every SDK-capable aircraft has been built and verified yet, and the list of supported aircraft keeps growing.
These are the DJI aircraft that DJI lists with Mobile SDK support, taken from DJI's official SDK compatibility documentation. Being listed doesn't guarantee an aircraft is implemented in Vekta Survey today. Enterprise aircraft reach centimetre accuracy with an RTK fix, from built-in RTK or DJI's add-on RTK module. Aircraft marked GPS work at metre-level accuracy. Get in touch to confirm your specific aircraft.
Install the app on your DJI controller and sign in with your Vekta account. Vekta Survey is free for everyone until 31 October 2026. After that, €40/month, €114 every three months, or €325/year.
